Just got back from a road trip that would have made Clark W. Griswold proud. Drove from Charlotte to Milwaukee and back, mostly interstate driving, no hypermiling. I set the cruise control for 8 miles over the speed limit and let it ride. Here are the stats: 1795.8 miles 49.3 mpg Driving time 31 hours 41 minutes Avg. Speed 57 mph Traveled with my wife and 4 year old girl, no complaints about power, although it took all it had climbing the mountains.
What was your longest segment without a break? And how comfortable did you find the C after all that time in it?
Longest segment was probally close to 4 hours without stopping. Had four days of approx. 8 hours driving. My wife is a chronic complainer and didn't utter one word about the ride. She drives a 2011 Honda Pilot and raves about the comfortable leather seats. Really the only thing bad to say about the ride is we bitched about the AC the whole way, dual temp. zones would be nice due to her malfunctioning thermostat. I was expecting the ride to be an issue but it really wasn't.
This is the origin of the "women are from Venus" saw. ttObviously they came from a warmer planet and are busy taking over this one by bossing around the previously dominant species - man. Cats, on the other hand, are from a totally different solar system. In the meantime, just sit back and let women and cats battle it out.
Since Clark lived in Chicago, I'm not sure why he'd drive from Charlotte to Milwaukee... But in any case, I hope your wife never finds out about the blond in the pool.
It is surprizing its sister, the Yaris Hybrid has this as a standard feature! The image is borrowed from Ian51, who animates a thread presenting his brand new Yaris Hybrid Dynamic Atlas Grey. Jan
