    Mike,

    Depends on where you are. I just bought a new 2012 standard Prius trim level 2 for under $21,000 before tax and tags. I live in upstate New York by the way. I may be off base and others may correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that price is a little steep. Check some other dealers in your area, maybe that is just the going rate where you are, but it seems high to me.

    Then it may not be a bad deal your prices are probably higher in Sacramento, CA, than in rural New York.
