Just bought a v and even before taking delivery of the car, i've already started feverishly shopping for accessories. So i've got a window tint kit and an alternative emblem ordered. Looking into body side moldings and ran into my first disagreement with my wife. She thinks that the side moldings may affect the car's drag coefficient, but we agreed it should be negligible. Where we have a split in opinions is that she thinks black moldings will work on our white Prius. The argument is that the back windows will be tinted to 5% and would look nice augmented with another spot of black. What do you think? any precedence set here on the forum of using moldings of a different color?
I have seen chrome look molding that looks good, but I personally would stick with the same color molding. Good thing you decided to tint. Big help with little ones comfort
It will look like you got ones that come unpainted that you are supposed to paint but didn't. It won't look good imho.
Thats why I said the same color molding would look better . People who like to "chrome out" their rides usually uze the chrome ones. They look ok but not my taste..but the black on white is just horrible. Looks like someone drew a line across your vehicle with a black sharpie
sold. Saw a white Nissan Pathfinder with black side moldings on the road today. Wife shook her head and admitted defeat. Same colour it is
