This is a trip from Copper Mountain to Glenwood Springs. 4 people in the car, A/C running and luggage.
I remember the days when I would just put my stick cars in neutral, shut the engine off, and gently ride the brake down long hills. It was good feeling not using any gas. Then I get the Prius and the engine shuts itself off, generates power, and I can still steer lol. It's always fun trying to keep the mpg avg above the miles you have driven. The gas station I go to is at the bottom of the valley, so when I get home, or to the highway from there I'm at 23 mpg after 3 miles of driving.
