A few people have stated that along with stopping the annoying seat belt and reverse beeps, the Fob could also be functionally changed. I want to know what change can be made. Making it possible to open all doors with one button push?
Yes, unlock all doors with one button push. But the dealer doesn't have to do that, you do it yourself. Instructions on how to do it are in the manual.
Page 62 of the manual describes this procedure. This only works when touching the handle, not pushing the unlock button on the fob.
Not off hand, sorry and I don't have my car with me (I have a rental where I am right now) so I can't look for ya. It's in there though somewhere because I did it to my 2012 and 2010 when I had it (and my 2006 too lol) because I can't stand it not unlocking all 4 doors with one button press.
Actually, a dealer can change the settings in the car so that one push of the unlock button automatically unlocks all the doors. I just did it to my car so nobody is ever stuck outside in the rain or snow while the driver gets in! It has to be done through Toyota's proprietary Techstream software, but it only takes a second to do. It is literally just a matter of clicking "unlock all doors" under the keyfob settings. Also - the keyfob can be used to start the car, but that requires a remote starter module to be installed, which runs about $300 for the parts. (DIY install is easyish, but you need Techstream to activate it.)
