I have a Sprint HTC Hero. It worked fine on my Prius. I upgraded the phone from Android 1.5 to 2.1. I thought all was OK because the phone would connect to the car. The problem is that when I make a call or someone calls me everything looks OK until someone talks. Nothing. No voices. I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me. I tried Sprint and they have been pretty useless so far. I tried the Toyota dealer and they charged me money to tell me there was nothing they could do. Any ideas? Right now my only direction is to try to see if I can downgrade the phone's OS.
I've seen this problem discussed on an Android forum. Some versions of Android did this but I thought it was fixed in about 1.8 or so. I have an HTC Google Nexus One and it works fine with Version 2.2.1. Sorry, I can't find where I read the information. Search using Google and you should find it.

It would help to post in the right area. The Bluetooth support on 3rd gen Prius liftbacks and on the Prius v wagon is nothing like that of the Gen 2 Prius (04 to 09 model year). As for "repair", well, what did they do or attempt to do? Do you have a '12 Prius liftback model Five or a '12 Prius v wagon? This conversation should probably continue in a thread in the proper area.
