My local tire shop is pushing these as a good replacement tire for the Prius with 17" wheels. has anyone used them? At about $ 116.00 ea they seem to be a good price and are supposed to be a LRR tire. Any opinions are appreciated
I wouldn't get them. They don't rate very high with TireRack.com or Consumer Reports. The Continental ExtremeContact DWS is a far superior tire and it is around the same price. I prefer the Primacy MXM4, Ecopia EP422, Continental ContiProContact or even Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max to them. Check the reviews on TireRack.com Hankook Optimo H426 Michelin Primacy MXM4 Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Continental ExtremeContact DWS Continental ContiProContact Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max You can also upsize to a 205/50/17 in which case the PureContact, Ecopia EP422, Serenity Plus or P6 Four Seasons would be better.
