Whenever the Entunes app is loaded onto my iPhone 5, even in the background, the phone gets hot and battery life plummets. I tried turning off LTE but this didn't help. Anybody else notice that? Aside from this, it's working really well. Connects reliably and everything operates as expected.
Kill the app. I do after I use the Entune, and it helps dramatically. Skype is a similar "rogue" app that sucks down the juice in the background. I had a really unreliable Entune connection with iOS 5 on my 4, but iOS 6 seemed to fix everything. The horsepower difference between the 4 and 5 as related to Entune is blindingly obvious. The 5 easily handles music browsing over Bluetooth and the Entune apps load up much quicker.
Yeah, that's what I do when I remember. Shouldn't be necessary though. I've put in a bug report to Toyota.
