City/State): Beaman Toyota (Nashville, TN) Timeframe given for delivery: 6-8 weeks Color: Barcelona Red Option Package: ordered #3, got #4 (for #3 price) Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: no idea Took delivery today - Jan 10, 2006 LOVE the red color - Oak interior (looks like a very light beige) We put $500 deposit down in November. Agreed on price of car (#3) at that time. Dealer told us (after car arrived) that *surprise* only #4 avail in this region, not #3s. My DH did great job of negotiating - and we only paid the #3 MSRP. The dealer still made his money. So we got Vehicle Stability Control for "free". It seems to be a common experience that the only Prius the dealers have available are packages more expensive than what you originally ordered. My advice - agree on the price IN WRITING when you put down the deposit - then STICK TO YOUR GUNS. Good luck everyone! The car is certainly worth the wait!!!
