I am looking at buying a service manual for our 2010 Pruis, as I hope to do some more maintenance on it as it ages. After seeing a hard copy edition on eBay for $1200, I decided the electronic version would be better. Anyone have any recommendations? I found these two: TOYOTA PRIUS 2001 2002 2003 OFFICIAL FACTORY SERVICE REPAIR WORKSHOP MANUAL | eBay 2010-2011 Toyota PRIUS Service Repair Manual Workshop + WIRING Diagrams 10 11 | eBay
Wouldn't you want something like this to save a bit more? TOYOTA PRIUS 2010-2011 FACTORY WORKSHOP SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL | eBay
Yeah, thanks....but are these manuals any good? I assume they are scanned copies of the factory manual??
I am not one to say because I am looking to purchasing one as well. Hoping to hear more feedback from others.
FWIW, the manual is out there, but sure is a bit of a let down, compared to Honda manuals I've had over the years. Don't get me wrong, it is great, if only to get the basic maintenance tidbits that Toyo should have put in the Owners Manual, but it's a terse, unfriendly text. And I wouldn't say because it's tailored for mechanics, it's just very cheap/dirty.
I ordered this one. It appears to be a direct copy of the factory service manual. The seller sent the link very quickly and seems to be decent so far. It appears not much different than most other shop manuals I own so far, which means it isn't as clear and easy to understand as a haynes type mnaul (I probably have 20+ shop manuals). I'd recommend this one to anyone looking for a cheap digital version.
