I just traded in my 2011 ford f150 crew cab ecoboost truck in yesterday. I was wasting so much money on this truck in fuel cost. I was filling up 3 times per week and I hated it everytime. I will miss the truck and it come in handy every once in a while. Before I was getting 16.5mpg and now I am getting triple that. I bought 2012 prius III tss edition it was the coolest prius I have seen. I will need to take it back to turn off the reverse beeping and seat belt minder.

congrats, all the best! i have a 16.5 mpg truck for home depot, dump runs and loaning to friends, but you can get more than a few 2 x's in the pri.

How do people afford what they afford in fuel costs? My friend just let out in casual conversation that to fill his diesel pick-up routinely costs $100 or more. This is currently the only vehicle he owns. I don't see how anyone keeps a full sized pick-up as a daily driver.
