What can I expect from Michelin x ice in terms of mpg's

    I just bought 4 new Michelin x ice snows but haven't put them on yet. What can I expect from these tires on dry pavement vs 6 inches of snow?

    I find them to be a bit less well planted on dry pavement than factory tires. My mileage drops about 10% to the mid-40s. Treadlife will drop quickly if run at highway speeds above 50-60 degrees. I leave the Prius at home in 6" of snow due to the low clearance. My winter wheels / tires will probably go on in late November / early December.
