What is the most economic way to install iPod on Prius 2005? Sorry if my question has been asked for years, but I really couldn't find the convincing answer. I have read a lot and came across a number of devices all of which cost over 100++$ plus shipping to my country another 50$...
The cheapest way is to use a cassette adapter, if you have a tape deck. It should yield superior results to using an FM transmitter (I've used those before in another car).
I concur with cwerdna. I've got a cassette adapter and it works just fine. I also agree that the FM transmitter is pretty lousy in comparison.
Thank guys for your suggestion... I might have to go with those expensive-to-me gadget cos it offers better sound clarity compared to Cassette Adapter & FM Transmitter!
The other advantage of the expensive gadget is that it will let you use your steering wheel controls to do some iPod navigation. That's nice.
