Let's say I parl my Prius in an airport's long-term lot and fly away for 2 to 4 weeks. If that light blinks every few seconds, will it run down the battery for starting the car?

On most models, you can turn off SKS, which means ( I think ) you have to open the car with the metal key. This can reduce battery drain.

But the little LED? You could power that for months from a tiny little button battery. It's power use is insignificant.
