wHAT gives..I turned off my power and put in park and put on brakes like i always do and this RED llight keeps blinking...after a lenghty look in the book it looks like a SECURITY INDICATOR...how do I turn this godawful light off????..The instructions say the light will stop flashing after the power has been turned to accessory or on..what?????
BUT I swear I never saw it before...so alaarmming???? And what the heck is an accessory light having to do with the power button???
Karen, you aren't the only one. I drove my V for a month before noticing the bright red light and almost panicked as I fumbled through the manuals looking for what it was trying to tell me. Not the only car to say that the security system is armed with the red light but certainly bigger and brighter than I was used to in other cars dating back to '99.
