Probably tackle this this weekend. The Sway Bar kit looks to have come with the mythical SwayBar install Kit that people thought you needed to purchase seperatly. My Research showd the 3rd Gen front springs share the same part number as the Plug-In springs, but the Rear Springs did not. I'll assume the Plug-In's rear springs are slightly stiffer to acomidate a extra 50-100 pounds. Shouldn't be a big deal. Yeah this springs may possily scrub out a hair sooner then the same setup on a Gen III, but hey I rarely have the back completly loaded down anyway. I got everything locally from Ryan Hone @ Elmore Toyota in Westminister. His number is 1-800-997-9092. He got them in less then 24 hours after I called and ordered them. Probably in another week or so I'll take the plunge and give the Front sway bar a try. For about 100$ I'll take the risk. I'd hate to know how many times I've checked this thread for an update. LOL! Be sure to update as to the result of spring install, pics are required.
I'm curious how it handles speed bumps with those rear springs. The only car I've ridden in with the TRD springs bounced pretty bad when going over a speed bump. With the heavier rear end I would think it would bounce even worse.
Installed, new thread created, thread locked. Finally: Installed the TRD Springs and sway | PriusChat Nevermind i guess you cant lock your own threads on this forum.
