Key Battery Problem (2009 Prius V)

    My battery in my remove start key can last only three days after changing the battery. Since I don't drive the car often so I do not pay too much attention to it. Now, my wife the key got the same problems with repeated battery replacement every three day. Is there anybody have the same problem and how to solve it.

    This is the Pip forum, you might be better off posting this on the reg hybrid forum. A quick answer, are you or your wife leaving the " Key " close or in the car? If so the Fob will continuously talk to the car, thereby running the Fob battery down.
