Long ago, when I saw Code: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jurvetson/7158364251/in/photostream/ , I noticed these pics of related to a former missile silo: Code: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jurvetson/7341755598/in/photostream/ Code: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jurvetson/7155006607/in/photostream/ Code: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jurvetson/7332227394/in/photostream/ along w/a link to this video: . Titan Missile Museum: Home is the place. Apparently, it was used in Star Trek: First Contact. I told my college friend about it who was embarking on a cross-county road trip and he was able to make it. He likes things related to aviation, engineering, the space program, military hardware, etc. I'd like to go some day. (Had to put Flickr links in code tags, otherwise they seemed to get eaten/improperly converted by this board's software.)
I went there in 2001 for the quick regular tour, than again in 2008 for the top to bottom tour that was from 8am - 1 pm. The tour was pretty cool. I took some video and pics of the top to bottom tour including a video clip like the one you posted of missile launch. Hope you get to go someday.
