I has a 2007 Prius, not sure on specific model. Dealer said it had Package 3... For whatever that helps. I can't seem to get some of the buttons on the steering wheel to work. The temp and the radio on the left work, but the map and info and phone et cetera do not seem to? Is it something Im doing, or ask the dealer where I bought the car? Secondly, Map doesnt seem to do anything, and I cannot figure out if it does or does not have navigation. Sync phone book.. might be the phones fault, but that doesnt work. I has an iPhone 5... been reading that that it is probably because of the iPhone's unwillingness to share via bluetooth. Also phone issue, maybe, but cannot seem to play music via bluetooth. I can with Aux, but not wirelessly? Is there a way to make the defualt screen on the display /not/ be info about fuel consumption and battery charge, et cetera? I wouldn't mind if it would stay on the audio screen rather. Some of these may seem minor.. But I deliver in my car for a living... I spend 8+ hours a day in my car, drive a lot of miles, and get in and out constantly. It's the little things that matter.
looking at the display ...if you have 2 buttons on each side of it...you will not have nav/gps...i believe pkg 3 doesnt have nav with it...so therefore the buttons for map will not work,...the phone buttons will work once a phone is synced to it...go to info button...choose phone settings and you will have to enter a passcode from the iphone to the screen to sync up...i have an iphone 5 with no problems...as far as music goes...the aux plug is the option you have for it...as far as the screen defaults go...i dont see a way to default the audio screen ...i believe there is no other option but the consumption/battery screen...as a default...
Thanks, that was a great response. I have another question for you, since you said you have an iPhone 5... I tried looking it up, but I can't find dpecifically what I want. How do I transfer the phone book? It says to transfer from phone, but I see no way to do that from the phone. I get what to do on the Prius end, but not the phone? Did you do it, and how?
i had to input the phone book 1 at a time manually......i couldnt get it to transfer en-mass at all...
