My headlight went out the other day, so I bought a new bulb & replaced it. When I went to plug the connector into the back of the bulb though, I noticed it was melted and had black edges. With the new bulb, the light still doesn't work. I checked the fuse and it's fine. Has anyone else experienced this? What's the solution, and how much did it cost you? Thanks!
Hi. I hope you are aware that Toyota knew it had a problem with the bulbs in the headlights of certain years of Prius. There was/is a recall. Make sure you check it out. Not sure about the 2007 but I have a 2008 and it was covered under the recall and they replaced both bulbs at no charge. I recommend that you use PriusChat often. It has saved me a lot of money plus been very informative. Good luck.
