Whats the deal with the free 3 years complimentary XM deal for new cars from Toyota? My XM is not working and all I get is previews on all channels. I talked to XM and they gave me my RadioID associated with my VIN number and said I don't have anything complimentary. How can I squeeze out a complimentary XM service from Toyota? XM asked me to call Toyota and check..
XM: most of it sounds like tin cans and wires, just a notch above Morse code. Not renewing. If you have consistent cell access (most do) and a satisfactory data plan, Pandora kills XM.
After my free 3 months from Toyota, XM offered me 6 more months for $24.00. I'll see what they offer after my 6 months is up.
I never received a $72/year offer. It started at $180/year, then came down a bit, not nearly enough. I took a similar six month extension, then cancelled when that temporary price expired. Now I'm sitting on a $25/6 months offer, with no listed expiration. Activating in mid April would take that through my summer road season, to be dropped over the winter when I not willing to pay much of anything for it.
does that include XM music, traffic , weather and all that comes with XM premium service.. Read more: http://priuschat.com/threads/complimentary-xm-deal-for-3-years.123816/#ixzz2OKvUgTQI
Mine was not premium service, though it had traffic for certain markets on audio channels. I think the PiP came with a 3 year (not month) deal of a premium service.
