It's great to see preferred parking for LEV. When will they start enforcing it as I saw non LEV cars parked in them?
Where I live they have some free charge points in town but generally people with non EV cars park there because as you say there is no rule to prevent them.
It's going to have to come down to issuing transponders to LEV vehicles. Just like toll transponders to prevent someone who is in violation of using the toll road illegally. It will require license plate identification cameras. Will it ever happen? Doubtful. DP parking is another story.
They might as well put in "Special Interest " parking spaces. I hope these charging stations are credit/debit card pay. No need for tax payers to foot the bill. Otherwise charge your car at home!!! But don't tax me. Rantus fini.
For what they get for those cars, they should come with a deed to the land on which they park. LOL!!!
