Please bear with me... I know there are a lot of interior LED threads, and info on where to get them. I am looking to get a set of interior LEDs as well as a shark fin antenna. My question is... should I try to inquire to the Prius Chat store about whether or not they will sell LEDs, or just order the shark fin, and go to iJDMtoy and get the LEDs? I don't know who runs the store here, but I'd like to support this site if I can.
I don't think the Prius Chat store carries the interior LEDs. Many people have ordered the shark fin from there and have been happy with the product they received. For interior LEDs while iJDMtoy has a nice and complete package that they sell, it is also very expensive. You can accomplish the same goal by buying a kit such as this one and save a bunch of money in the process: 8 Lights Super Bright LED SMD Interior Light Kit For Toyota Prius 2010~2012 You could also look up each of the bulbs individually and probably get the entire interior replaced for less than $20 with shipping and everything. Saves money for other mods
Exactly. I grabbed a 10 pack of 168 5SMD for $10 shipped. At that price, even if they don't last a whole year, they're cheap enough to swap out and still come out ahead.
Don't bother inquiring about LEDs. Turn signal mirrors and aftermarket taillights have been no go so you'd be waiting forever. You do save a couple dollars getting the sharkfin through the PC store though.
