My 2006 Prius touch-screen not dash display went blank sometime it works and other time not. The controls on the steering wheel still work to control the A/C and raido. The car is driving fine. I have not seen any info from someone who has figured out a fix for the MFD going blank like that. Being intermittent, but it may be related to cracks in the circuit board, as happens with the other known MFD problem. It is possible to DIY swap in a used unit from a salvage yard.
