Check the regional forums. Hawaiianbuilt regularly attends/sets up meets in the LA area. He will know if there are any coming up.
Thank you, I saw that one but I'm working all weekend and long hours so I can't make it but thought maybe you guys meet once in a while in the LA area. My dad has a Leaf and they meet every other week, once in LA area and the other in the OC. Thank you for the info, I would love to go but time is super tight this weekend
I have an update to my original post. My wife just asked me to buy another car so she can drive it while I have the Prius. "WHAT" I just got rid of a car, and now I need to buy another! A little background, I have a Ram too but she won't drive it and I drive the Prius to work because its fun and saves tons of money compared to the V8 in the Ram. Looks like I should have kept both Prii. Lesson learned, I'm keeping this one!
Ya, I have a house and a truck is needed at times, I like to travel and take more than 5 people + luggage and sometimes tents, canopy, chairs, ect... The Ram is a full crew cab and comes in handy, oh ya I also pull a trailer once in a while. Not things I would do in a Prius
If enough ppl are interested, I can either find an existing meet or coordinate one. I don't mind doing it as long as its not a flop. I prefer smaller local meets that are reasonable such as a get together @ an in n out or something like that. Grab a burger, check out some rides and go home. Weeknights are cool too. Lemme know if there's others who'll be down. Besides Prius chat, I don't know any other Prius owners surprisingly.
I'm down for that, that's exactly what I would want too, nothing too long, some food, and some people. Just let me know when and where, I work a lot but if its quick and fun I can make it on a work day.
LOL, I was definitely thinking of it but they gave a fair price and I'm sure they have spent money on it and I would have to pay taxes on a car I already paid taxes on, no thank you. I'm thinking about getting a 2000's Corolla. I had a 98 that I sold, it was reliable and good on gas.
Ok, I'll try to contact Hawaiianbuilt like F8L mentioned, and even try to kickstart some old socal meet threads. If that doesn't work, then I'll start a new thread.
