The wife ("Caniece" on here) and I picked her up a 2010 BRM Prius II a little over a month ago and we're loving it. That said, I haven't found a ton of BRM love here on PC. So here's the thread; show off your BRM Gen3!!! (i'll get a pic up here soon )
Note the vehicle mix in my employer's lot (disregarding the Toyota Tacoma next door) Near to far: Saturn Aura, Ford Fusion, Buick Lucerne, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Silverado, Saturn SL1, Buick Century.
I like to think that us owners of the Blue Ribbon Metalic Prius are the Bill Gates of the Prius owners. We are the best, we know we are the best but we don't wish to flaunt it in front of the other, not so gifted owners. Plus, we got the hot girlfriend/wife. (I sure hope everybody here knows sarcasm when they see it, otherwise, if I show up dead, you'll where to look for some suspects). But that's my answer and I'm sticking with it. Mike
I covet your color...I wanted one to match my Vette but couldn't find one with the solar roof I also wanted. Great color!
Her new 2010, less then a week old. Got III mostly for Bluetooth. She like the Blizzard but her previous car was white ('96 Integra) and wanted something different. Blue Ribbon is the prettiest anyways lol I guess we like blue Toyota. My Speedway Blue X-Runner and her brother's IS300 in Spectra Blue Metallic.
I envy you owners of the BRM Prii. It would have been our first choice color, followed by the blizzard pearl. We had to settle on what was available out of a very limited inventory and ended up with a winter gray metallic.
It's usually off unless I go on a road trip. I figured, if Toyota went to the expense and effort for aerodynamics purposes, might as well use it on the highway! I'll also swap it out once in a while and see if anyone at work notices.
"Pretty"? Nooo. The BRM color is tough, it's rugged, it's testosterone filled, it should be only for trucks ... Yeah, my grilfriend says it's pretty, too. Guess I'll have to live with that (or get rid of the girlfriend). Mike
