Ok I got a touch screen kenwood dx440? radio , a sound ordance bp8 and the camry back up camera, I had my friend install it. It looks great. Radio powers . It had sound for a minute. It now has no sound , no sub and no camera. I would like the sub under the seat, he said he thinks that might have a ground issue there. ( so where do i ground it?) what do I need to look for? he is coming back tomorrow to trouble shoot. please help . thanks in advance. 2010 jbl non nav originally installed, still using jbl amp
I have my Polk PA660 under the drivers seat. It is grounded within a foot of it to the body. Is it the best ground I cant say, but the unit works. Check fuses, he may have overloaded on fuse. The amp needs to have power right from the battery.
Why would the sub under seat have a grounding issue? Do you mean amp? Does the amp power on? If so there is no grounding issue. Its sounds like an issue with the Head unit. I would check settings on the head unit for the rearview camera and sub 1973 cb500 four
