iPad mini on 2012 Prius II

    I have a 2012 Prius Two (no Entune). Has anyone tried to connect an iPad mini to the iPod USB port, and if so, can I control it from the car display as I can an iPod? My seven year old iPod is nearing the end of the line, and I'm thinking of an iPad mini for music and other uses. Thanks for your help.

    Yes, it works just like an iPhone would.

    You can use it like a iPod for the music.
