2012 Prius v Navigation updates

Well, I would rather buy Garmin :-/ than Adv. Tech. Pkg.

 

Advanced Technology Package comes with a different Nav than the Display Audio.

New Map Version (for ATP): 21-12-27 [2012-06-1]

Old: 21-11-24 [2011-06-1]

 

Did u buy it? U like to make a copy for me, I will share the cost with u?

 

You have to get the ACN, and if you have TIS professional, then the dongle, which I also bought, will work. You call TIS and they will give you a License key. The USB is 16 GB, with only 256 MB free...

A 2008 has a different Nav. I don't think I have what you are looking for....

 

Although I have a nav system installed on my Prius, I prefer to use a standalone GPS. The financial cost and hassle of updating that many of you have suggested is just one issue.

With my Garmin, I get free updates 4X annually--at no additional charge. I don't have to wait every other year for an update!

In addition, I prefer to view my GPS directly in front of me as it sits safely on the dash with a weighted mount.

The third strike against the built-in nav is that it is much dimmer than my built-in device.

I don't think the chrysler Uconnect 2.0 which runs on Garmin allows U to do that. only works on Garmin PND.

Can anyone tell me the latest software version number on a 2013 Advanced Technology Package system. I have not picked up my vehicle yet and the dealer said it will be the latest, but I want to be able to check it before I drive away.. Thanks.

 

Is the latest current mapping version 12.1 or 13.1 - Toyota said they will give me the latest version and I just want to make sure they install it right . Originally they told me I had the latest, then when I persisted they said they will update it to the latest, so I want to be able to verify it when I have it done.

 

I had my maps updated in November and it was version 13.1. I believe 14.1 should be available soon but, for some reason, this information is not readily available. Try to hold out for the 14.1 version, the 13.1 maps are very outdated.

 

Anyone know if 14.1 has been released yet as I am scheduled to bring mine in for an upgrade shortly and want to make sure they install the correct version.

 

Wasn't as of 5 days ago.

 

14.1 was available for the '11 Avalon as of 1/5.

The latest for the v Three displays a date of 2013 as of 1/23/2015 according to Toyota Tech Support.

Don't know about the ATP.

From what I can see, the 2014, aka 14.1, update is out: TOYD-HDD07-14

 

Any idea what the price is? Can't find on site.
