synchronizing new TPMS in 2012 Prius C3

    I just got a set of take-off OEM 15" alloys with tires and TPMS sensors installed. Will these TPMS sensors be automatically recognized by the car pressure monitoring system ?
    If not, what do I have to do to get them synchronized? Thanks !

    Pretty sure you need a scantool to do it. I have to program TPMS sensors a lot at my job and I always have to use the scantool on toyotas.

    I was kind of hoping that all OEM ToyotaTPMS sensors would use the same radio frequencies so it was not necessary to scan them but are probably right.
