    I had a VW Rabbit Sparmeister edition in the 80's. I realized that Toyota has built "the new savings champ" and I'm driving one so I got a sticker made for it.

    savings where in the price
    because it was small and dirty diesel so it run high MPG nothing special there.

    Hate to be a grammar nazi, but it should be "Der neue Sparmeister" (source: I'm German). I like the idea though :)

    Thank you dapete - not only for replying for also for using your very first reply on this post. I was waiting on someone to come out to correct it. :) I knew the lower case s was wrong but didn't want to waste the guy on Ebay's time to have him correct it. And so much for free translation dot com. I even googled der das die to double check. So let me ask this - if the Sparmeister is an auto, and auto is neuter, then why der?

    Yes low price like Prius c. Yes high mileage like Prius c. Smoke cloud, not like Prius c. :)
