Has anyone tried plugging a multiple USB port into the single USB port? Does it work? For example a plugging a USB drive and an IPod? Thanks!!
it is not stated on the manual, u could certainly try. let us know if it works. only 3 things could happen. - nothing happen - works! - reset radio ( don't think u can report this) if you use unpowered multi port usb it may not charge ipod and may not work right, u need a powered port. more wires in the car.
You would need to get a powered USB hub and plug the power adapter into the cigarette lighter. The USB port on the car barely has enough juice to charge your cell phone.
Yep - I just did it this weekend. I have a 4port USB 2.0 hub (not powered) that I plugged into it. Had a USB stick & my iPhone plugged to it at the same time and it worked fine. However, the system couldn't read both my USB stick and the iPhone at the same time
using a multi usb port in the radio usb is just dumb. the radio wont be able to read both the devices, maybe not even one. what i did was just buy a dual usb micro car charger. i can charge my phone and ipad with it while my ipod is playing in the radio.
