Hello Prius Chat! I placed an order for a Prius last week (apparently there was only 2 in Northern California with the color combination that I wanted) and I just picked up my Prius today. I can't say how excited I am to be a Prius owner. I have a 2013 Prius Three in Barcelona Red with the Solar Roof Package. With only 3 miles on the ODO when I picked her up, I have already placed almost 50 miles of driving just this afternoon! Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say "hello" to everyone. Look forward to seeing you guys on the road!

Congrats!.. you must be the only other Prius around the Bay Area.. I didn't know you can get a 3 with Solar... but I never really looked into it. I thought the 4 was model you had to get to get solar roof? SO the difference between your 3 and 4 is Softex?
nice car. just moved back to MN from northern ca. lived in sonoma county. it was beautiful. went to SF several times. beautiful ride. loved the parks there.
The difference is the Softex, JBL speakers, and lest we forget: $2,000 plus tax. They were trying hard to get me to go for the Four. It's nice, but living in the Bay Area, I don't need fake leather (more weight), automatic seats (more weight) and bun-warmers (even more weight). It's definitely rare, but they do come in a Three as a "option", whereas a Four comes Standard I think. I definitely do like the Prius. I'm very, very happy with my purchase.
Hi Charles, Congrats Barcelona red is a great color! I was lucky to find a prius 3 with nav plus solar moon roof too. It's an awesome package. Enjoy!
