I was simply attempting to list all the things Hitler caused - we agree on most of them. People react to him without thinking of what he actually did. No, we can't blame him for everything, but his list of evil is quite horrific.

Each human has the potential of being good and bad - it is a choice each of us makes every second of we live.
Subliminal images of the dark side of humanity reminds us - how evil lurks in the shadows of mankind and how twisted men can become. The risk is always there - that's the creepy thing about it.

I't makes you think. America had a horrible history including killing Indians and relocating them 1,000 of miles in the trail of tears, slavery, KKK, the only nation to use an Atomic Weapon against civilians, camps in California to house Japanese Americans , harsh treatment of immigrants, etc. America was full aware of Hitlers death camps and turned a Blind eye until Pearl Harbor

 

Lets not forget who was the Time's 1938 "Man of the Year"

 

Thinking about stuff like this is really depressing.

 

Now for something a little different. The video below is a spoof of a Mercedes-Benz' collision-avoidance system that works the first time, then runs over a young boy later identified as Hitler. MB calls this spoof inappropriate, but the public reaction is mostly positive.

Don't forget that the present Administration had two - three days prior warning that the gas attacks in Syria were going to happen and said/did nothing.

 

What is occurring in Syria is deplorable. The negotiation is to have Russia broker an agreement here the chemical weapons will be given to Russia and in exchange Assad does not get bombed by the USA.

All of that is true and absolutely nothing to be proud of, but it seems like wart-gazing. If someone made a list of Man's inhumanity to man by nation, America would fare pretty good, and that's in comparison to nations more benign than Nazi Germany.

The only reason to look at the past is to live better for the present. America has addressed it's injustices and continues to do so.

My focus is on present nations that violate human rights, Syria in particular, various other Middle Eastern and Asian nations in general.
