the horn of the car turned on

    I was inside the house. The fob was in the next room. The horn turned on as if I had hit the panic button of the fob. It turned off when I went over to the fob and hit lock. Wth? Why is the panic button activating itself when I'm nowhere near it?

    Gremlins, poltergeist, menehunes? Child playing with your fob? Lol.

    Have you changed the battery in the fob lately? Sometimes the case isn't lined up perfectly, and pressure is on the buttons when the case is reassembled.

    Since the fob operates on what must be crowded radio frequency bands, one must accept the possibility of interference from other sources.

    Hopefully, this was a random occurrence.
