Good lord, I gave up on trying to add text to the first post with my pictures.. So here are the details, cost of tint with tax included 128.40$ The tint normally is 169 dollars, but there is a "ladies special" at this particular location for 119 dollars. I basically told them I want that deal and they said ok. Its 15% tint in back and 25% front. I can add a windshield strip for 20 bucks (ill deal with that in future). This shop only mentioned the special deal on the website, when I called they made no mention of it and I had to ask about it so be thorough and shop around for the best prices!
That tint makes your car look so much better! I wish I could pay those prices for tint - that's a great deal. Congratulations on finding that price!
So good. I'm also an FL resident (transplant, actually) and have put of tinting for a year or two due to finances. Finally in a position to do it. I'd LOVE recommendations. How do you pick a good place, get a good deal?
Well, I googled Tint Jacksonville Florida, and checked out all that were in and around town. I went to each of their websites looking for any promotional offers and also took into consideration the reviews that were given. One thing that the tint place had to have for me to even consider their business was a lifetime guarantee, along with the company having stable footing in the industry. (no point in a lifetime guarantee if they go out of business lol) It was also a holiday weekend so I called around, letting them know I was shopping for the best deal. I ended up getting a tint place to honor their "ladies special" deal to me if I were to drive in right then and there to have it done.
Looks good, I did my own for about 60, but I've done tons of cars in my earlier days, and I have all the right tools. My Prius was an easy one to do for sure, did a Caddy CTS about six months ago, and getting that rear window was a tough one for sure. My wife's 2013 Prius came tinted from the dealer, but she want's me to remove the tint, and go darker, so that's my next one. Is that a 20% tint, sure it's illegal. That's what I have on mine too.
lol its 15% rear 25% front. The law for florida is 15% rear 30% front. I went a lil darker than legal on front Most places seem to be willing to put whatever tint you want on your car, even on the windshield or using those weird colored chrome tints. I used to tint my own cars as a teenager... poorly lol. Lots of air bubbles but you couldn't tell at night I decided to pay for the professional look this time around.
