Center console year change?

    Do all GEN III center consoles swoop up from the center armrest to the dash? I see a lot of Prius's with the center console stopping short of and not connected to the dash. I am confused as to what year they would be, since they appear to have LED taillights which I thought did not start until Gen III which was 2010, correct?

    So, did 2009 and prior Gen II have LED taillights (with clear lenses like 2010) also, but have the center console not connected to the dashboard?

    2010 and newer have that bridge that the shifter resides on. Gen II has no bridge. Don't know about the LED tails though :(
