silently in my heart yesterday driving back to my worktown on a 110mile trip with a hell lot of head and side wind on mostly hills and I averaged 40mpg going only 55-65mph (I usually average 52mpg on that trip going 65-70mph). At one point there was so much head/side wind and combined with the hill climb, I was doing only 55mph and only getting 30mpg or so, lol (I guess still better than most other cars on that road yesterday), and my lil C was reving it's heart out trying to push against the wind
Yeah, those very rare low MPG days break my heart too. Next time recline your seat all the way back, and you'll get an extra couple of MPG's.
Yeah I just remind myself that I'm getting at least double my SUV's per-trip fuel economy (like 17 mpg) regardless of wind or cold so that comforts me.
