Dang. Forty minutes remain of launch window, so maybe. But the chatter is tending more towards 'safing' then 'fixing'. Better bet that they don't fly today.
I have mixed feelings about their boss, but I'll admit that they have a LOT more failures to go before they reach the number of failed launch attempts that NASA has amassed. Besides.....butt or not, you have to admire somebody who has the testicular fortitude to put their fortune where their mouth is. They'll shake it off. No worries.
See? No worries..... Hmmmm. My feed isn't working. Shows somebody eating cat food in a microgravity environment.....
Now they can't get the holder-upper thing back into position. I don't know if you can't drain cryo from a 'freestanding' rocket.
Engine shutdown on the pad. With a short launch window , how can they imagine to get this thing cycled and ready again? Happy Thanksgiving to PCers
Two dissapointments tonight. First - the ISON comet has been probably broken up. And now - no countdown edit: countdown resumed T-10m - new hope. edit2:
Hi Les, were you watching SpaceX webcast directly or via the spaceflightnow feed? Hoping they can provide some real competition in this market, but I have not forgotten yet about GLORY and OCO
It's up now. I watched all the fails last week and slept through this morning's success. I guess this is the first commercial geostationary launch? New era. Interesting to me that the satellite will park at 95E - that's my sky
