Hello fellow prius posters. Some people know me on here and some don't. I live in San Jose, CA.. I'm currently unemployed and having a hard time landing a decent paying job. I have a fair amount of job experiance (construction, realestate, customer service, delivery, etc) I'm looking to see if someone can offer me a job in the bay area.
you can be my personal assistant if you want to move to NC. i'll even pay you in cookies and stolen office supplies. d'oh, i didn't mean to say that last part... h34r:
Can't really help with a job right away but with your background look into becoming an Appraiser. Great pay, own hours and a pretty good demand for them right now. I'm in the Valley and lenders are begging the Appraisers to do jobs for them. Wildkow
careerbuilder.com and monster.com Doesn't hurt to start looking elsewhere too. I found two more positions on career builder, cause the one that I was interviewed for in Jan, I would have been... uh fired (pinkslipped) before I went in for my first day of work. Fun huh?
I need yard work done, my house painted, etc. I'll see the cookies and raise home cooked dinners.....spaghetti and meatballs, chicken cacciatore, lasagne, enchiladas, the occasional steak..... Our school needs a network systems technician but you have to know MACs and have experience with servers on a network. But you would have to relocate to San Diego. Way not worth it as the cost of living is probably a lot higher here than in San Jose. Going in to real estate appraisal is a good idea, but you have to apprentice and put in a lot of hours before you get licensed.
