hello all, i was hoping i could get community options and recommendations for LED bulb to replace the one in the trunk of the prius c... the accompanying pic are the ones i installed as my dome lights and i love them, they are super bright and the light is white, however i had a few extras and they are too big to fit the truck light space.
these are the ones i used for my dome lights before i changed them again, they were not as bright as i wanted them and the light was on the bluish side. don't really want to use these for my trunk light... i got these off amazon...
I'm late to the party, but pretty much any LED will be significantly brighter than stock. If you get on Amazon and look up "192 LED" pretty much any will fit be mindful of the LED type. 5050 is the brightest you'll find. A good quality 5050 will be brighter than a multi SMD 3528. Find some that are 5 SMD 5050. The 192s are also the same kind of lights for the reverse lights, the little lights on the top of the headlamps and the license plate lights. Leds in those spots will look sharp.
The main issue I remember was that you had to make sure to UNPLUG the cargo light prior to changing the bulb. Some people who did not do this, had some electrical issues; can't remember exactly what , but it wasn't very good. Other than that, great improvement over stock.
