P0304 code occasionally kept coming up in the last few weeks. After ruling out coils (I swapped them around) and spark plugs I took the fuel injectors off and sure enough cyl#4 injector wasn't spraying nearly as good as the rest. Run some carb cleaner through it and it was as good as new. While putting everything back together I must have not lined them up perfectly because I had a leak when I started it back up. I took everything apart and tried it again. This time no visible leak but it the smell keeps coming through the vent while driving. I've ordered new o-rings for the injector since there's gotta be a leak which I can't see but I can smell. The way I reinstalled them was I pushed the injectors into the fuel rail and then pushed everything in together. Any other suggestions?
Here's a page from the repair manual. Just need to make sure the injector goes in straight and put some gasoline or spindle oil on the O-ring, so it doesn't distort going in. If they've been in and out a couple times, hope the new O-rings come soon.
