Hello & happy Friday the 13th I've had this car for about 17 months and put on a little over 30,000 miles so far. A good mix of long road trips and dense urban commuting. Thru the desert and in the snow, bumper to bumper (in eV) and on the open road.. this little car has been great. Thanks to Garm @ micro image Prius C 2012+ Great shop! I highly recommend for your Prius C wants & desires I'm blessed to be close enough for them to work on my car in person. From them I got: Tanabe Sustec Pro coilovers, sharkfin, JDM touring spoiler, fog lights...that's all that comes to mind, oh wait also Scangauge2 Also, thanks to this thread > Prius "City" | PriusChat I had my headlights modified by the same guy. Great work too and I highly recommend if you're interested. GY Custom Lighting | Facebook couple of photos... cheers.
thanks I got them from garm... I just happened to stop by the shop when he got them in, to I took them off his hands. I like them, it's a got a "low" and "high" beam setting. They are wired to come on (in the 'low' setting) automatically in the parking lights & headlights setting on my stalk. I can turn them on with a (included) switch that fits perfectly in an open spot on my dash... the switch turn them on in the 'high' setting and adds quite a bit of light. I never use this while driving... but I'm looking forward to a storm or fog or something to see how they function. My avatar photo... is the parking lights setting on my stalk, which gives me halos & the small outer lights on the fogs.
resurrection Thanks to Jeff and Garm @ Micro Image (and Mike..) I might have finished off the exterior of my little pC2... although I might change taillights again but for now it's Valenti SB & I love the way they look on the car. Also, the exhaust, perfect fitment... direct bolt on for my car I love the center exit and oval tips, I think it looks great. Top notch quality... the sound is subtle, and fantastic to my ear. some photos...
Shhhh! We don't use our real names on the internet. LOL! Glad I was able to help out. Car is looking really nice! I want to finish mine, but time and money is just equally hard to come by these days. We'll see how I do on my tax return, lol. I should be at Toyotafest this year. We should all meet up there.
Put on about 4500 miles the past couple of weeks, from LA to the Midwest & back. The C was wonderful for the trip...over the mountains & through a May wet & slushy snow storm. I did have fresh tires put on Sumitomo HTR A/S p01 in 195/60/15..... and they were amazing thru the slush. I tried to break them loose on off ramps & in some parking lots, but my PC2 was firmly connected with the pavement Over 40,000 miles so far & I really do love this car. No problems at all merging into traffic, passing while climbing.... and the interstate rude/aggressive/ignorant drivers were not bothering me maybe they didn't know I was a prius...
the retrofitted headlights and the new tails make the car look completely different! very nice looking C
That was right after the worst section of I-76 heading towards Denver.... The C was driving fine, but I wanted to exit for a little break and to check on the situation ahead. Since the C handled the off ramp so well when I was testing the traction, I got right back on the Interstate.... and it cleared right up and was almost dry a few miles later. Clear driving until I got into the Rockies and then the snow/slush came back with a vengeance. The car performed fantastic Here was the view heading towards the mountains.
