Whenever I start my car the default screen is the map, whether I am using nav or not. Is there a setting somewhere where I can make the audio the default screen?
In my PiP there's a choice of a split screen with a map and audio, or a map and a compass, or a map and a turn list.
There's a setting called "auto-change screen" or something like that. Set that to 'off' and then it will keep whatever screen you used last.
Okay, several days ago I verified that setting "Auto-change Screen" was off. I think that controls the changing the screen from one mode to another. It does NOT set the default screen. It seems that whether the screen is on audio or an application (Pandora) or Map when shut down has no impact on what is displayed when the car is started. Usually it starts in the split map/radio mode. Usually, not always. At least once this week it started on the audio screen. Isn't there a default setting somewhere. OR - what are the rules that determine which screen will come up first?
