My Passive House™ | Michigan's First Passive House™ just came across this right in my back yard someone has been at it for a minute very simmilar to what I was trying to accompllish, well I dont know about some of the choices they made, they were questioning themselves
you know I figured she must have gotten back that's why you got so quiet all of a sudden , I stepped away from all this for a moment and been looking into Passiv Haus very interesting concept, heating demand is reduced by 90% and for the most part it's pretty straight forward construction, no particular method is standard justy certain insolation and air tightness standards, very interesting stuff, like Corwin suggested keep an open mind.
Here, this is more like what I was talking about earlier. Fredericton man builds $300 solar furnace, decreases heating bill - New Brunswick - CBC News
Yeah I knew about those, same with water heaters, and granted I have considered them, thing is where I currently live I don't have where to put such ghismos once I figure what to to for a house out there I have all sorts of room to tinker and such collectors are definitely in the works
