Very helpful post . . . thank you. I spoke to Tom B (Bertini). Of the dozens of dealers that I have contacted over the last two months, he was the most optimistic. TownToyota sounds like one of those rare dealers. They require a $500 check which they do not cash; or a credit card. It is refundable. Sales are at MSRP, according to Tom, and they do not force any dealer options on you. The waiting list is relatively short. Now I am on it! You are right about Tom. He sounds like to good guy.
