I have a 2012 Prius III. I put a 2 cup water bottle in the back seat and went to a meeting. When I came back I noticed almost all of the water bottle leaked into the seat cushion. The good news is that it leaked behind the driver's seat, not near the battery vent. Will I have any problems?
Probably not with the battery, either 12v auxiliary or traction battery. However, possibly with mold or mildew. There are some instructions on how to remove the rear seat cushion in the Clazzio seat cover thread, I believe. I'd remove the seat and try to dry it out before it gets musty. SCH-I535
The HV battery is directly behind the rear seat, most of it behind the driver half of the seat. As stated above I would try to remove the rear seat and check for any standing water around the battery housing.
I figured out how to remove the back seat bottom cushion and there was a small pool of water on the battery housing. I live in high desert, so it should dry within a day. Thanks!
I'm sure the OP took care of the water in the car. The reference to letting it dry for a day was about the soaked seat cushion that was removed. SCH-I535
