Hello, I bought 2010 Prius which was imported from Germany and it came with its German Catalogue but I need an English Catalogue so can anyone help me where can I find a PDF file for it. I made many searches online without any positive results. Tks
Yes I know and I have an account but need to have the file on my computer better than going online everytime and log in etc....
I think I have seen someone post a download / copy of the owners manual. You may want to search for that. In the meantime, here's a good user guide someone put together: http://john1701a.com/prius/documents/Prius_User-Guide.pdf
Well, please pass along MY "Kudus" to John1701a ...when might it be up-dated to include the 2014 GenIII vehicles?
German Prius has the following which the US Prius doesnt have: 1-Turn signal on mirrors. 2-Speed and GPS display on the front windscreen. 3-KM instead of MILE. 4-Rear red light on the left side of the car (Its for foggy weather). 5-Internal Storage for Music. 6-Xenon front lights and most comes with fog lights. 7-No spare tire only an electric pump. 8-For imported cars the German ones are more clean that the US ones!
It's the same generation. The 2014 is still the 3rd generation. There will be slight differences (Such as a higher resolution 5" MID screen with 2 or 3 extra screens like Monthly Savings Record) but it should apply. 2 - HUD? U.S. vehicles from 2012 and onward offer it as an option 6 - They're not xenon, they're LED low beam headlights (dipped beam) and are available in the US. 8 - Emissions are the same for both 15" and 17" wheel models (17" using a bit more fuel and thus slightly higher emission output)
2-Yes exactly the HUD but I forgot the name! 6-Not sure. 8-what r u talking about? What I said is that the imported cars into my country (Jordan) are much more clean that the Priuses that come from USA. Also, I woke up late today so I had to speed up to work so a very bad smell came our of the car and this is not the first time so any ideas what is the reason for that? Is it a time to change the muffler things under the car????
Unless I'm interpreting "clean" wrong (I was thinking emissions, you may be thinking the wear & tear of the car?) They're LEDs. Toyota switched from HIDs to LEDs for the 3rd generation. Could the smell be mildew from the HVAC system? Or does it smell like petrol?
Eww. There could be a dead mouse in the HVAC or a mould problem. I would have it inspected and get anti-mildew sprayed into the pipes. Change the air filter too (behind the lower glovebox) as well.
