I'm going to see if we can get people together for a MPG run this coming Memorial day Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail nps.gov/natt/index I thought it might be good do to: -Light traffic -Scenic Route -Low speeds -Central location -Lack of local police So far, its just a couple of Civic VXs, but the more the merrier. -Aaron
The proposed route is starting out at the Tupelo auto museum, then going to the french camp log cabins and back. I'm going to go ahead and drive it within the next few days to confirm the route and filling locations. Around 170 miles round trip, but scenic and peaceful at both ends. Lets just go for Memorial day itself, since its an easy day for everyone to remember.
It was great weather, terrain, and speeds. Here is the elevation map, notice how much p&g could be done. Hope to see more folks next year.
