Just purchased the BAFX OBII for Android scanner to use with my Prius C and Touchscan app. Seems to only work intermittently-will connect for about 5 min then lose the connection and have to shut down and restart my Kindle Fire HDX and restart Touchscan for the scanner to be 'found' again and start sending info to the Kindle again. Anyone else tried this android based obd scanner and had any reasonable success with it paired with a tablet? Thx.
Update - tried the obd2 scanner and the Kindle with my wife's Matrix - worked flawlessly in all aspects/menus of the scantouch software so am wondering if it has to do with the Prius itself?
works well with my nexus 5 android smartphone. and can switch same sensor to a tacoma using same phone no problem
